Mantras for Work-Related Stress
I’ve been trusted with some big projects at work recently. While I am incredibly thrilled and honored that my boss believes in me enough to hand over the reins, I’m starting to feel the stress and imposter syndrome that comes with it. And it doesn’t help that outside of work, I tend to pack my personal life to the brim… what’s free time? So I took a moment this morning to decompress and gave myself a little pep talk before heading into the office. Here’s a few key statements that I wrote down as reminders to myself, and I hope you can claim these for yourself this week too.
No need to stress. Release the tension you’re holding in your body.
Your work will get done and your effort will be appreciated.
Take a step back and look at the big picture. Look at all that you’ve accomplished this far. Look at how much you’ve accomplished even just in the past few days.
You can do this. You are capable.
