I am stoked to support Jess Szyska in hosting her first beach cleanup next weekend, Sunday, December 3! Meet us out at Waimanalo Beach Park anytime between 9-11 am next Sunday to help keep our island beautiful.
Jess is a fellow woman in STEM and a total boss babe that I am thrilled to call a dear friend. She has a heart of gold and an incredibly bright mind. I’m excited to watch her make waves in the environmental field as she continues her education and pursues a fulfilling, impactful career. Here’s her story:
I’m from Chicago, IL. I am a biology major at DePauw University but currently studying abroad at University of Hawaii at Mānoa through the “A Semester in Hawai’i” study abroad program. I am passionate about conserving the environments in which the people I care about live. I want to aid in the process of making these environments safe and sustainable.
